The Start of Focus Engineering
In 2013, Tim Snijder and Ben Bond noticed a clear development in the market: the demand for specialized professionals in Control & Automation and Electrical & Instrumentation was growing rapidly. They decided to meet that demand and Focus Engineering was born.
Four years later, the mission expanded. Tomas van de Groes started Modus Engineering and brought the disciplines Mechanical & Piping with him. In 2024, we combined all knowledge and expertise under one name: Focus Engineering.
Today we are a specialized Secondment, Mediation and Recruitment & Selection Agency that exclusively focuses on these technical disciplines. What started as a response to a market demand grew into an organization that knows the technical labor market from the inside. Through years of collaboration with leading companies and specialized professionals, we know exactly where expertise is needed and where a professional makes the difference.
International Expertise
Technical talent does not stop at borders. We regularly guide specialists from around the world through their relocation to the Netherlands. As a recognized IND sponsor, we handle the entire immigration process – from work permits and visa applications to housing, insurance and opening a bank account. This way, employers can focus on welcoming their new talent, and international professionals can settle in quickly and comfortably.
