Focus Engineering was founded in 2013 by Tim Snijder and Ben Bond to meet the market demand for well-suited personnel in the Control & Automation and Electrical & Instrumentation sectors. In 2017, under the leadership of Tomas van de Groes, Modus Engineering joined which allowed the company to also contribute to the Mechanical Engineering market. In 2024, Modus Engineering was merged under the banner of Focus Engineering, specializing specifically in these five disciplines. With our experience, we know the entire market and always manage to find suitable personnel for our clients.
At Focus Engineering, we believe it’s crucial for both the client and the candidate to be fully satisfied. Communication is key to our success. We guide candidates through the entire process, from the initial introduction to all contractual matters. The candidate is our Focus, and we have a dedicated department ready to answer all questions.
Due to our Focus on the process, we consistently receive positive feedback from the candidates we’ve placed (check out our Google reviews and testimonials). Within Focus Engineering, this is one of our core values: the result is what matters. Both the client and the candidate must fully agree on the commitment. We only aim for the perfect match.
Additionally, Focus Engineering is an IND (the Dutch Immigration and Naturalization Service) recognized sponsor and we specialize in the process of guiding candidates to the Netherlands for our clients. We handle Visa applications and assist with many other matters, such as finding suitable housing, insurance, the 30% Ruling, and all other aspects involved in moving to the Netherlands (see our relocation page for more information).
