Focus Engineering is currently looking for Medior/Senior and Lead Electrical Engineers for one of the biggest shipbuilders in the Netherlands.
Focus Engineering assists you with the following:
– Finding a house in The Netherlands
– Taking out insurance policies
– Apply for the 30% ruling: Focus Engineering will apply on your behalf for the 30% ruling, which is a tax benefit you will receive as a skilled knowledge migrant. This means you will not pay any tax over the first 30% of your income in the Netherlands.
Requirements:
– You must be willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
– You need to have working experience in the Maritime / Offshore / Shipbuilding industry.
– You need to have an EU-passport.
Our client is one of the biggest shipbuilding companies in the world. This company has over 10.000 professionals and almost 100 years of knowledge and experience in the naval shipbuilding. They invest in the most sustainable, advanced and cutting-edged technologies in the field of automation, electrical, mechanical engineering, combat systems, radar and navigation systems.
The multi billion projects you will work on, are among of the most challenging projects in the world due to the size, advanced technology and systems. The duration of the projects are between two and five years and you will be working in a big multidisciplinary engineering team.
– You perform the required technical calculations to prove the design
– You participate in design checks and reviews in order to guarantee the required quality
– You align internally with other engineering disciplines about solutions and specifications
– You are responsible for the functional and technical specifications of Electrical installations.
– You verify technical performance of vendors and subcontractors
– You perform cost analysis on received offers, in close cooperation with the Purchase department
– You offer support for producing and submitting proposals to their clients
– You offer technical support or commissioning activities to projects under contract
– You manage vendors and subcontractors to deliver their work on time
– You develop and describe standards and working methods
– You have a Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering or similar
– You have experience in the maritime industry
– You have a strong command of the English language
– You have an European passport
– Salary up to 80K a year
– 38 paid holidays
